Family Support Groups

NAMI-Western Massachusetts offers support groups at no cost to the public for family, caregivers and friends of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight and hope from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances. You'll benefit through each others experiences, discover your inner strength and learn how to identify local resources and how to use them.

Northampton Support Group

Meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Springfield Support Group

Meets on the last Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Greenfield Support Group 

Meets on the last Wednesday of the month from  6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Many of our support groups are now available remotely. Any Massachusetts resident with a family member, or friend with a mental health condition can choose to join any group. Please contact the group leader to get the conference call or video conferencing details.

 

Family Support Group for Black and Brown Communities

A Family and Friends Support Group for the black and brown communities.

The Support Group Program meets the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. A Zoom link will be provided for participants.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups 

A Vital Link to Your Community and A Key To Your Recovery

NAMI Western Massachusetts offers free, peer-led support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions.
You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of other's, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who have been there.

Talk to someone who understands ... someone just like you.

The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community in a non-judgmental space.
